Good Boy Gone Best follows a couple, Phát and Diệp, who raise their only son, Phú Quý, within a confusing environment where the lines between wealth and poverty are intentionally blurred. This unconventional upbringing is designed to align with the parents' personal ideals. As Phú Quý matures and begins to make independent decisions that clash with his parents' goals, a series of comedic errors occurs, eventually revealing hidden family secrets. The story explores themes of generational conflict and the effort required for parents and children to achieve mutual understanding.
