- Sophie Marceau and Pierre Cosso, like their characters, dated for some time in real life.
- Over 800 young men auditioned for the role of Philippe, which was ultimately given to Pierre Cosso.
- The film's title song, "Your Eyes" by the British group Cook da Books, also became a hit in France, though not as big as "Reality" from the first film. Over 2.5 million copies were sold in total.
