Imichki

Set in a southern Moroccan village during 1975, this drama follows a young woman who cannot read or write. As she attempts to compose a letter to her husband, who is away from home, the process evolves into a personal struggle against the isolation and societal constraints that define her existence.

The short film was written and directed by Yza Nouiga and produced by Les Films Cosmos. The lead roles are played by Oumaima Oughaou, who portrays Meriem, and Youssef Ourras, who plays Lahcen. This Canadian production has a total runtime of 15 minutes.
