O Jacaré

O Jacaré is a drama set in Reboleira, a suburb of Lisbon. The story begins when a vehicle crashes in the neighborhood following a botched robbery. Although the police arrest the driver, a large sum of stolen money disappears. As authorities seal off the area, the local residents become obsessed with finding the missing loot, leading to widespread speculation and competition among the neighborhood characters.

The film was written and directed by Basil da Cunha and produced by Julien Rouyet. It is a joint production between Portugal and Switzerland, involving production companies such as RTS, Akka Films, Thera Production, and Continue Walking. The movie has a runtime of 92 minutes and features a cast that includes Alexandra Sena as Xana, Alexandre da Costa Fonseca as Chandi, Paulo César Lima Fonseca as PC, Nelson Carvalho as KP, Pedro Diniz as Machine, and Heidir Correia as Batcha. It was released on September 3, 2026.
