Votvoti

Votvoti is a Bangladeshi drama that centres on the small, engine-powered passenger vehicles known locally as votvoti, and the everyday lives of the people who depend on them. Within that setting, the film follows the tensions and relationships that grow out of this working world, building its story around ordinary people rather than spectacle.

The film is directed by Maruf Hossain Sajib, who also wrote the screenplay. It is the fourth feature he has directed, following Hashi in 2023, Valo Manush in 2024 and Dusto Misty Prem earlier in 2026. It was produced by NTV and runs 43 minutes, placing it well below the length of a typical feature.

Votvoti was released on 28 June 2026 and is a Bangladeshi production.
