What's left behind the scenes

  • In one scene, an explosion occurred too close to Ed Westwick and damaged his eardrum.
  • The author of the book "Jesusonomia" is Chris Fisher, the film's director. He initially wanted to title the book "Jesusology," but that title was already taken.
  • Randy mentions a town called Conejo Springs. "Conejo" translates from Spanish as "rabbit" or "bunny," a reference to Frank, the giant rabbit from the film "Donnie Darko" (Richard Kelly, 2001).
  • The film is set in 1995.
  • The falling meteors are actually tesseracts, or four-dimensional hypercubes.
