What's left behind the scenes

  • In filming the shots featuring the opening credits, director and screenwriter Just Jaquin used his own butterfly collection.
  • Rehearsals before filming began took three months.
  • According to director and screenwriter Zhust Zhaken, the temple in the finale was filmed in a pavilion. The structure had sliding walls that were decorated differently for each new scene.
