Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai

Ash and his companions, including Dawn, visit Alamos Town while traveling toward a Pokemon contest. The town is home to the Space-Time Towers, and the group soon finds themselves caught in a conflict involving the mysterious Pokemon Darkrai. While Baron Alberto blames Darkrai for local destruction, a larger crisis emerges as a prophecy unfolds. The legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia engage in a battle that threatens the space-time continuum and the safety of the town, forcing Ash and his friends to uncover the true nature of Darkrai.

Directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, this Japanese animated feature is the 14th of 28 films he directed, following Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea and preceding Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior. The film features the voices of Rica Matsumoto, Ikue Otani, Yuji Ueda, and Megumi Toyoguchi. A credited crew of 49 and a cast of 21 worked on the production, which was produced by companies including The Pokémon Company and TV Tokyo.

The movie earned 42 million USD at the worldwide box office. It has been received positively by viewers, holding a rating of 6.4/10 on IMDb from 4,600 votes and a 7/10 on TMDB based on 325 votes.
