Two American friends, Kelly and Lucy, travel to Montenegro to visit an old college friend who lives on the Adriatic coast. They join him and his fiancée on a boat trip and meet a young man named Boban along the way. Despite a local fisherman's warnings, the group decides to visit Mamula, an abandoned military fortress on a nearby island that once served as a prison. When their boat is destroyed, they find themselves stranded, hunted by an armed stranger and unaware that something worse waits in the fortress tunnels below.
The film is a Serbian and Montenegrin horror fantasy directed by Milan Todorović, who wrote the screenplay with Barry Keating and Milan Konjević. It was his first feature, followed by Deathcember and Hajduk in Belgrade. Kristina Klebe and Natalie Burn play the two visitors, with Dragan Mićanović as Boban, Slobodan Stefanović and Sofija Rajović in supporting roles, and Zorana Kostić Obradović as the nymph Scylla.
Released in 2014 and running 94 minutes, the film has a modest following rather than a strong one: on TMDB it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 10 from 97 votes.
