Short description

A top American spy is in charge of a delicate mission. The USA plans to infiltrate several U-boats in the sea of Vladivostok, however they need the soviet surveillance satellite to stay 'blind' for a couple of hours, so this spy is sent to damage the antenna for the satellite. Everything was planned accurately. But the CIA never counted on the relentless pursuit of a frontier guard who sees the spy's parachute on landing.

What's left behind the scenes

The plot of the film takes place in the Baltics. Filming was conducted there, in the Lithuanian SSR, specifically at Kaunas Airport. Some of the location shooting took place near Vyborg.
Border guards from units of the North-Western Border District participated in the filming—the 102nd Vyborg Border Detachment, the 2nd Separate Brigade of Border Guard Ships (Vysotsk), and the 14th Separate Aviation Regiment (Petrozavodsk). The PSKR-707 (Project 205-P) of the 2nd Separate Brigade of Border Guard Ships also took part in the filming.
The role of the first officer was played by the actual ship's commander, Lieutenant Commander Vladimir Petrovich Prozorov.
