Braddock: Missing in Action III

Colonel James Braddock believed his Vietnamese wife had died during the fall of Saigon, more than a decade earlier. Word reaches him through a missionary that she survived and that he has a son he never knew about. Braddock returns to Vietnam to bring his family out, but a Vietnamese general stands in his way, and the rescue turns into a fight to escape the country.

Chuck Norris stars as Braddock and co-wrote the screenplay with James Bruner. Aaron Norris directed, making this the first film in his directing career; he went on to make Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection, Sidekicks, Hellbound and Top Dog. Aki Aleong plays General Quoc, with Yehuda Efroni as Reverend Polanski and Keith David as an embassy gate captain. Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus produced for Cannon Group and Golan-Globus Productions, and the film was shot in the United States and the Philippines with a budget of 9 million dollars. It earned about 6 million dollars worldwide.

The film is the third entry in the Missing in Action series and runs 102 minutes. Audience scores are modest: on IMDb it holds 4.9 out of 10 from around 8,000 votes, and on TMDB 5.7 out of 10 from roughly 300 votes.
