Battletruck

Set in a lawless twenty-first century following devastating wars over oil, the story follows a man named Hunter who rescues Corlie from her father, a brutal leader named Straker. Hunter brings her to the quiet settlement of Clearwater, but the community is soon threatened when Straker and his gang pursue them to reclaim the girl.

It was directed by Harley Cokeliss, marking the first of three films he directed, followed by Black Moon Rising and Malone. The screenplay was written by Irving Austin, Harley Cokeliss, and John Beech, with Lloyd Phillips and Robert Whitehouse serving as producers. The movie stars Michael Beck as Hunter, Annie McEnroe as Corlie, and James Wainwright as Straker, with supporting roles played by Bruno Lawrence, John Bach, and Randy Powell.
