Voodoo Man is a 1944 American horror and mystery film about a doctor who abducts young women travelling through a remote area. Dr. Richard Marlowe, played by Bela Lugosi, is trying to revive his dead wife and uses the women's life force in his attempts, aided by his associates. When a reporter's fiancee's cousin and her friend become involved, the search for the missing women brings the investigation to the doctor's home.
The film was directed by William Beaudine, whose career included The Cohens and the Kellys in Paris in 1928 and Rodeo in 1952. Robert Charles wrote the screenplay, and Jack Dietz and Sam Katzman produced it for Monogram Pictures and Banner Productions. The cast includes George Zucco as Nicholas, Tod Andrews as Ralph Dawson, Wanda McKay as Betty Benton, Louise Currie as Stella Saunders, and John Carradine as Toby, with twenty credited performers in total. It runs 62 minutes.
