What's left behind the scenes
- In Don Chaffey’s 1977 musical of the same name, the heroine was named Nora, not Grace, and her father was named Lampi. Pete was an orphan who ran away from cruel foster parents, initially lacking human friends and being hated by the entire town. The musical also featured two stingy doctors attempting to kill his dragon, Elliot.
