What's left behind the scenes
- In American trailers for the film, Eva's white 'Jaguar' and Eva herself in a white long-sleeved dress are briefly shown, which has nothing to do with the sleeveless red dress shown in the film. These are the only surviving shots of Catherine Deneuve as Eva.
- Initially, Seth Holt was the director of the film, but producer Dino De Laurentiis disliked his style, and Mario Bava became the director.
