Some of the casino action scenes were borrowed from the pilot episode of the series "Vegas" (1978-1981). The pilot was filmed at the Maxim hotel-casino, while the series itself was filmed at the Desert Inn casino. The "Maxim" sign can be seen on the Wheel of Fortune, as well as on the cards at the blackjack table. The series credits are shown against the backdrop of this same casino scene.
Mary Louise Weller, who played Claire Bonner, was unable to perform karate on screen herself because she had been in a car accident shortly before filming began.
