Short description

During the 1960s, two American jazz musicians living in Paris meet and fall in love with two American tourist girls and must decide between music and love.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The film was produced by Marlon Brando's Pennebaker Films, and Paul Newman took the lead role after Marlon Brando (1924–2004) lost interest in the project. Marilyn Monroe (1926–1962) was initially cast in the role eventually played by Joanne Woodward, but she also chose to leave the project.
