Bloodshot

Marine Ray Garrison is killed along with his wife, then brought back to life by a technology company that fills his body with nanotechnology. The procedure leaves him with superhuman strength and the ability to heal almost instantly, but his memory of his former life is gone. As he trains alongside other enhanced soldiers, fragments of his past return, and he sets out to find the man responsible for his wife's death. What he learns along the way suggests the people who revived him have been less than honest about his situation.

The film is directed by Dave Wilson and written by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer, with Vin Diesel starring as Ray Garrison and producing alongside Neal H. Moritz and Toby Jaffe. Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, Talulah Riley and Lamorne Morris appear in supporting roles. It is based on the Valiant Comics character Bloodshot and was released in March 2020.

On a budget of about 42 million dollars, the film took in roughly 40 million dollars worldwide. Audience scores sit at 5.7 out of 10 on IMDb from around 91,000 votes and 6.7 out of 10 on TMDB from more than 5,000 votes, while critics gave it 4.7 out of 10 across 173 reviews, making it a film that drew mixed-to-negative notices and a modest commercial result.
