The Flesh and Blood Show

A troupe of young actors gathers at an old, abandoned theatre in a seaside town to rehearse a play. They are preparing the production for a London stage, but the isolated venue holds a secret, and someone is stalking the company. Members of the cast begin to die, and the police are left without leads. The film is a horror thriller from 1972, set on the English coast and built around an unknown killer picking off the performers one by one.

Pete Walker directed and produced the film, working from a screenplay by Alfred Shaughnessy. It was the first of the features Walker directed, followed by Tiffany Jones in 1973, Schizo in 1976, The Comeback in 1978 and House of the Long Shadows in 1983. The cast includes Jenny Hanley as Julia Dawson, Ray Brooks as Mike, Luan Peters as Carol Edwards, Candace Glendenning as Sarah, Robin Askwith as Simon and Tristan Rogers as Tony Weller, among 24 credited performers.
