Short description

In a Gothic cathedral built on the mass grave of a Teutonic purge, an ancient discovery by the new librarian will release an unholy maelstrom of madness, violence and demonic vengeance.

What's left behind the scenes

The Gothic cathedral featured in the film (exterior) is the 13th-century Matthias Church in Budapest. The ruins from the final part of the film are the 19th-century St. Nicholas Church in Hamburg, almost destroyed during the bombing raids of World War II.
