Short description
Set during the 1992 Los Angeles uprisings following the Rodney King verdict, the story focuses on Mercer, a man attempting to repair the bond with his son. At the same time, another father and son plan a risky heist to steal platinum from catalytic converters at the factory where Mercer is employed. As the city descends into chaos, the paths of these two families intersect, pushing both sets of parents and children to their breaking points.
The film was directed by Ariel Vromen, following his previous work on Rx, Danika, The Iceman, Criminal, and The Angel. The cast features Tyrese Gibson as Mercer, alongside Scott Eastwood, Ray Liotta, Dylan Arnold, Oleg Taktarov, and Clé Bennett. The production involved a crew of 157 people and a credited cast of 30.
