The Neighbor

Mike is a man in his fifties whose marriage has gone flat, and his routine is shaken when a younger woman, Jenna, moves into the house next door with her husband, Scott. Mike becomes fixated on Jenna, watching her and looking for chances to talk to her, and he comes to suspect that she is hiding something connected to Scott and his temper.

The drama thriller runs 105 minutes and was directed by Aaron Harvey, who wrote the screenplay with Richard Byard. It is the second of the three features Harvey has directed, following Catch.44 in 2011 and preceding Come with Me in 2026. William Fichtner, who also served as a producer alongside Robert Ogden Barnum and Aaron Harvey, plays Mike. Jessica McNamee appears as Jenna, with Jean Louisa Kelly as Lisa, Michael Rosenbaum as Scott, Colin Woodell as Alex and Erich Anderson as Brian. The film was produced in the United States by Blood Moon Creative and Michael Bruce Pictures and was released in May 2020, taking about 6 million dollars worldwide.
