We Put the World to Sleep

Two actors, Adrian and Duru, become so immersed in their roles within a science fiction movie about the end of days that they begin to confuse fiction with reality. This confusion leads them to attempt a clandestine operation to actually destroy the world. The story blends elements of drama, horror, and mystery as the protagonists lose themselves in their characters.

Directed by Adrian Țofei, the film is a co-production between Romania and Turkey. It serves as the second installment in a spiritual trilogy created by Țofei and Duru Yücel, which also includes Be My Cat: A Film for Anne and Pure. The screenplay was co-written by Țofei and Yücel, who both produced the project alongside Dogfood Williams.

The movie features Adrian Țofei and Duru Yücel in lead roles, supported by a cast that includes Erisse Peterson, Andreea Enciu, and Danha Yunes. Dorina Țofei also appears in an uncredited role. With a runtime of 83 minutes, the film was released on October 18, 2025.
