- The film is a direct sequel to "Halloween" (1978).
- In September 2009, before the closure of Pre-Production, Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer (writers of "My Bloody Valentine 3D", 2009) wrote a script and even spoke with Tyler Mane about returning to the role of Michael Myers. Shortly after submitting the script, the company shut down production, stating that the script was good, but there wasn't enough time to complete the project on schedule.

- Jamie Lee Curtis has already appeared in 5 films in the franchise: "Halloween" (1978), "Halloween II" (1981), "Halloween: 20 Years Later" (1998), "Halloween: Resurrection" (2002), and "Halloween" (2018). She also provided the voice for the town crier of Santa Mira and the telephone operator in "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" (1982), but was uncredited.
