- This film has no connection to the movie 'Alien'. Director Ciro Ippolito decided to capitalize on the wave of popularity following the success of Ridley Scott's film. 20th Century Fox filed a lawsuit against Ippolito for the unauthorized use of the word 'Alien' in the title, but the legal proceedings were unsuccessful. The director's lawyer managed to prove in court that the film was allegedly based on a novella titled 'Alien' from the 1930s and did not rely on Ridley Scott's sci-fi movie.
