Girls Town

After a young man named Chip dies during an attempted assault on a girl, Silver is accused of the crime. Despite having an alibi, her history of legal issues leads to her placement in Girls Town, a facility for troubled young women managed by nuns. While Silver struggles against the school's authority, her friend Sarafina deals with an obsessive infatuation with a singer. Simultaneously, Chip's father employs a detective to investigate the death, and a friend of the deceased causes trouble for Silver's sister at a drag race.
