Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero

Based on a true story, this animated film follows a stray dog who is taken in by an American soldier named Robert Conroy. After bonding with Conroy and his fellow soldiers, the dog, named Stubby, travels to France to serve on the front lines during World War I. In the trenches, Stubby forms close ties with his human companions and performs brave acts, such as rescuing the wounded and detecting spies, eventually becoming the most decorated dog in United States military history.

The movie was directed by Richard Lanni, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Mike Stokey. Lanni previously directed Road to Victory. The voice cast includes Logan Lerman as Robert Conroy, Helena Bonham Carter as Margaret Conroy, and Gérard Depardieu as Gaston Baptiste.
