Case Closed: The Crimson Love Letter

A bombing at the Nichiuri TV station occurs during the filming of the Satsuki Cup, a national competition for the Japanese card game Hyakunin Isshu. As the building burns, Conan must rescue Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama, who are trapped inside. Simultaneously, the champion of the competition is found dead in Kyoto. Conan and Heiji partner with the Osaka and Kyoto police to investigate the connection between the murder and the attack, while Kazuha competes in the tournament against a rival who claims to be Heiji's fiancée.

Directed by Kobun Shizuno, this film is the ninth of 14 movies he has directed, following Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and preceding Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle. The screenplay was written by Takahiro Okura. The voice cast features Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa, Ryou Horikawa as Heiji Hattori, and Yuko Miyamura as Kazuha Toyama, alongside Kappei Yamaguchi, Wakana Yamazaki, and Rikiya Koyama. The production involved a credited crew of 233 and a cast of 35.

The movie earned 63 million USD at the worldwide box office. It received a consistent reception from viewers, holding a 6.5/10 rating on IMDb from 2,000 votes and a matching 6.5/10 on TMDB from 126 votes.
