What's left behind the scenes

Filming took place in Canada starting on September 25, 2006.
The tagline "On Earth, everyone will hear your scream" was originally planned for "Alien 3" when scenes on Earth were still envisioned for that film.
The author and designer of the fantastical creatures is Alec Gillis, who, along with partner Tom Woodruff Jr., had worked on several previous films in the franchise.
The Predator was nicknamed 'Wolf' by the filmmakers, in honor of Winston Wolf from the film 'Pulp Fiction' (1994). His role in the film, like Wolf's, is described as a 'cleaner' who cleans up after killings, accidents, and other messy situations.
Ms. Yutani was originally intended to appear in the first part – 'Alien vs. Predator' (2004), but was cut from the script. Originally, it was a man named John Yutani, for which Gary Busey was considered.
This film is the first in the entire history of Predator films to show the Predators' home planet.
