Night Hunter

A Minnesota police officer becomes entangled with a determined vigilante while pursuing a predator linked to a string of abductions and murders. The trail leads to a troubled young man named Simon, whose fragmented mind holds the key to crimes that continue even after he is taken into custody, forcing investigators to confront the possibility that others are involved.

David Raymond wrote and directed this thriller, which also counts him among its producers. It was his first feature as director. Henry Cavill plays Marshall, with Ben Kingsley as Cooper, Alexandra Daddario as Rachel, Stanley Tucci as Commissioner Harper, Brendan Fletcher as Simon and Minka Kelly as Angie. Supporting and crew credits run to dozens of names across a production mounted by companies in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.

The film was released in August 2019 and runs 95 minutes. Its worldwide box office came to roughly one million dollars, a modest return. On IMDb it holds 6 out of 10 from about 32,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.6 out of 10 from around 1,100 votes. A critics' rating of 4 out of 10 from 37 reviews places professional assessments well below the scores audiences gave it, suggesting viewers responded to the cast and premise more warmly than reviewers did.
