Trolls World Tour

Poppy and Branch learn that their tribe is only one of six scattered across separate lands, each devoted to a different kind of music: funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When the hard rock queen Barb sets out to wipe out every other genre and let rock rule alone, the two friends travel between the kingdoms, hoping to bring the divided Trolls together before her plan succeeds. The film is a computer-animated musical adventure from DreamWorks Animation, released in 2020 and running 91 minutes.

It was directed by Walt Dohrn, whose earlier directing credit was the 2010 short Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular; he went on to direct Trolls Band Together in 2023 and is attached to Shrek 5, scheduled for 2027. The screenplay is by Wallace Wolodarsky, Glenn Berger and Jonathan Aibel, with Gina Shay producing. Anna Kendrick voices Poppy, Justin Timberlake voices Branch, and Rachel Bloom plays Barb, joined by Ron Funches, James Corden and Kelly Clarkson among a credited cast of 42.

Made for about 90 million dollars, the film took in roughly 49 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds 6.1 out of 10 from around 33,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7.2 from more than 2,300 votes. A critics' rating of 6.2 from 159 reviews places it close to the IMDb figure and below the TMDB score.
