What's left behind the scenes
- The majority of the film was shot in a former psychiatric hospital located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
- The film was shot from a 134-page screenplay in 39 days. Filming began on October 2, 2017.
- The theme of comics first appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's first film in the trilogy, "Unbreakable" (2000). The technique of alliteration (the repetition of one or more consonants to give the text greater expressiveness) is constantly found in the names of characters in previous films (Peter Parker, Bruce Banner, etc.). Here it is the superhero David Dunn and the supervillain Kevin Crum.
- Screenwriter and director M. Night Shyamalan drew inspiration from the comics "Saga", "Sandcastle" and others.
- In the original script, Kevin was supposed to be a supervillain that David would have to fight, but the director realized in time that he would not be able to fit everything into one film, so Kevin was made the hero of a separate picture, and the film "Glass" completed the trilogy.
