Glass follows David Dunn, a man with extraordinary strength and resilience, as he pursues Kevin Wendell Crumb, a man living with multiple personalities whose most dangerous one is known as the Beast. A confrontation between the two is interrupted by police and by Dr. Ellie Staple, a psychiatrist who places both men in a mental institution. There, they join Elijah Price, a patient with a condition that makes his bones extremely fragile and who has long argued that people with superhuman abilities exist. Elijah's knowledge connects him to both men, and his involvement shapes what follows. The film is the third chapter in a series that began with Unbreakable and continued with Split, with characters and storylines from those films coming together here.

M. Night Shyamalan directed and wrote the screenplay, and produced alongside Marc Bienstock and Jason Blum. It was his eleventh film as director, following Split and preceding Old. James McAvoy plays Kevin and his many personalities, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn, and Samuel L. Jackson takes on the title role of Elijah Price. Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor-Joy and Spencer Treat Clark also star, with a credited cast of 48 and a crew of 174.

Made for about 20 million dollars, the film earned roughly 247 million dollars worldwide, a strong return on a modest budget. On IMDb it holds a 6.6/10 from around 303,000 votes, and on TMDB a 6.7/10 from more than 9,000 votes. A film critics' rating of 5.2/10 from 412 reviews places it below the audience scores.
