Felicity follows a student at a Roman Catholic boarding school in Australia who is curious about sexuality. While at school, she explores these feelings through erotic literature and a relationship with her friend Jenny. During a holiday trip to Hong Kong, she stays with a wealthy couple and begins to experience her sexual awakening. Her journey through the city leads her to a first encounter with a man and a subsequent romantic involvement with a woman named Me Ling.
Directed by John D. Lamond, this drama and romance was his first directorial effort, followed by Pacific Banana in 1981. The film was produced by Lamond and Russell Hurley through Krystal Motion Picture Productions. The main cast features Glory Annen in the title role, alongside Chris Milne as Miles and Joni Flynn as Me Ling.
