- John Bosley, played by Sir Patrick Stewart, mentions the death of Charlie. This refers to John Forsythe (1918-2010), who played Charlie in the television series "Charlie's Angels" (1976-1981) and the first two films, and who died on April 1, 2010, at the age of 92.
- Ella Balinska performed a significant number of the stunts herself.
- As part of preparation for filming, director Elizabeth Banks had the lead actresses re-watch not the previous films, but select episodes of the original series (1976-1981).
