What's left behind the scenes
- Pascal Laugier had previously worked with Mylène Farmer. The director shot a music video for the singer in 2015 for the song City Of Love.
- An accident occurred during the filming of a scene in which actress Taylor Hickson was supposed to punch a glass door with her fists. Director Pascal Laugier asked the actress to hit as hard as possible, assuring her that it was safe. But the glass shattered and fell on the actress. As a result of the incident, Hickson received an extensive cut to the left side of her face and was taken to the hospital, where she received about 70 stitches. After filming was completed, Taylor Hickson filed a lawsuit against the film company Incident Productions. Ironically, the film's poster depicts an image of a broken and slashed young woman's face.
- Crystal Reed, who played the role of adult Beth Keller, charmed director Pascal Laugier with a video that her fan posted on Youtube.
