What's left behind the scenes
- Based on Harinder S. Sikka's debut novel "Calling Sehmat" (2008), which tells the story of the Third Indo-Pakistani War in December 1971.
- Filming had to be suspended due to unrest in Patiala (a city in the eastern Indian state of Punjab). Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh, a self-proclaimed god, was convicted of rape, resulting in tens of thousands of his supporters taking to the streets in protest, which escalated into clashes with police and the army.
