Jurassic World Dominion

Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs are no longer confined to an island. They live and hunt among people across the world, and the uneasy balance between the two species puts human dominance in question. Owen Grady and Claire Dearing are drawn into that conflict, while familiar figures from the earlier Jurassic Park era return to a world where the animals have spread far beyond any park.

Colin Trevorrow directed and co-wrote the screenplay with Emily Carmichael, and Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley produced. It is the fifth film Trevorrow directed, following Safety Not Guaranteed, Jurassic World, The Book of Henry and Battle at Big Rock, and the third Jurassic World installment. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard lead a large cast that includes Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and DeWanda Wise; fifty performers are credited, alongside a crew of over three hundred.

Made for a reported 465 million dollars, the film took about one billion dollars worldwide, a strong return even against that outlay. Viewer scores are mixed: on IMDb it holds 5.6 out of 10 from roughly 244,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.6 from more than 7,000. A critics' rating of 4.8 from 406 reviews places it below both audience scores, with the widest gap against the TMDB figure.
