Short description
A group of friends visits an extreme haunted house attraction on Halloween, expecting a night of manufactured scares. What they find inside is something else entirely: the horrors they encounter are real, and the people running the place have no intention of letting them leave. As the night goes on, the friends have to work together to survive and find a way out.
Haunt is a 2019 American horror thriller directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who also wrote the screenplay. It was the first feature the pair directed, ahead of 65 and Heretic, and it was produced by Todd Garner, Eli Roth and Mark Fasano. The cast includes Katie Stevens as Harper, Will Brittain as Nathan, Lauryn McClain as Bailey, Shazi Raja as Angela, Andrew Lewis Caldwell as Evan and Schuyler Helford as Mallory.
The film had a budget of 5 million dollars and grossed 2 million worldwide. It runs 93 minutes. On IMDb it holds a 6.7 rating from more than 1,400 votes, and film critics gave it 6.3 from 50 reviews, so audiences and critics are close in their assessment.
