Short description
After a fall while gathering mistletoe, the druid Getafix realizes he must ensure the village's longevity. He travels across the Gallic world with Asterix and Obelix to find a gifted young druid capable of learning the secret recipe for the magic potion.
This French animated adventure comedy was co-directed by Alexandre Astier and Louis Clichy. It is the second collaboration between the two directors following Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods in 2014. Astier also wrote the screenplay and provided voices for several characters, including Huiledolix, Blodimérix, and the centurion Oursenplus. The voice cast features Christian Clavier as Asterix and Guillaume Briat as Obelix, with a total of 41 credited performers.
Produced by companies including Canal+ and M6 Films, the movie had a budget of 36 million USD and earned 46 million USD at the worldwide box office.
