Looking for Magical Doremi

Looking for Magical Doremi is an animated fantasy comedy about three women from different backgrounds who are brought together by a mysterious magical gem. The group consists of Mire Yoshizuki, a Tokyo office employee who recently returned to Japan, Sora Nagase, a college student hoping to become a teacher, and Reika Kawatani, a freelancer and part-time worker at an okonomiyaki shop in Hiroshima. After a chance encounter, the three embark on a magical journey together.

The film was produced by Toei Animation and co-directed by Junichi Sato and Haruka Kamatani. Within Sato's career, this project follows his work on Junkers Come Here, Gegege no Kitaro: Ghost Night Game, Aria the Avvenire, and A Whisker Away, preceding Aria the Crepuscolo. For Kamatani, this was the first of two directed films, followed by One Piece Heroines. The screenplay was written by Midori Kuriyama and Takashi Yamada and produced by Hiromi Seki. The voice cast features Rena Matsui, Aoi Morikawa, and Kanako Momota as the three lead women, alongside Kenta Hamano, Shohei Miura, and Akira Ishida.
