What's left behind the scenes
- According to director Sam Hargrave, the ban on firearms in India was so strict that they had to import rubber guns with no moving parts into the country for filming. In the first rescue scene, for example, these rubber guns were used, and not a single blank was fired. The entire scene had to be animated during post-production using digital technology to create the impression that the weapons were being fired.
- During the filming of some chase scenes, director Sam Hargrave became the camera operator and stuntman, filming these scenes himself while strapped to the bumper of the pursuing car.
- The film was shot in Ahmedabad, India, and the locals were thrilled to see Chris Hemsworth in person. Some fans stood by the set for 15 hours straight just to catch a glimpse of him.
- Sam Hargrave's directorial debut.
- The film is set in Bangladesh, but all the Bengalis in the film are played by Indians.
- Manoj Bajpayee was initially cast as Ovi, but was later replaced by Pankaj Tripathi.
- Filming took place from November 2018 to March 2019.
