Day is part of a film crew shooting a commercial at a disused swimming pool six metres deep. When the others leave, he stays behind to clean up and falls asleep on an inflatable raft. He wakes to find the water has drained away, the smooth walls too high to reach, and the site deserted. His girlfriend Koi ends up trapped in the pool with him after an accident, and a crocodile from a nearby farm comes to the water. With no ladder and no one within earshot, the two must find a way out.
This Thai survival thriller was released in 2018 and runs 91 minutes. It was written and directed by Ping Lumpraploeng, who also produced it with Nitcha-orn Palakon, Amornthep Sukmanont and Charoen Kaithitisuwan through TMOMENT and Dark Army Studio. It is the first of the three features he has directed, ahead of Muay Thai Hustle and The Stain. Theeradej Wongpuapan plays Day, with Ratnomnot Ratchiratham as Koi and Khom Kongkiat Khomsiri, Avajareen, Suteerush Channukool and Kuensit Suwanwatthakee in supporting roles.
The premise of a man trapped in a drained pool with a predator keeps the action largely confined to a single location. Reception divides along familiar lines for the genre. On TMDB, the film holds a rating of 5.9 out of 10 from 371 votes, while a critics' rating stands at 7.4 out of 10 from 28 reviews, so reviewers have responded more warmly than the general audience.
