Brooke Shields jumped at the opportunity to work with Phil Traill because she had long wanted to star in a film with Bill Nighy.
Felicity Jones landed the lead role as soon as she auditioned. Upon seeing her, director Phil Traill immediately understood that she was perfect for the role of Kim.
