Fujiko Mine takes on the care of Gene, a sickly young boy whose late father embezzled a large sum from Godfrey Mining and hid it away. A killer named Bincam, employed by the company, is hunting the boy, and Fujiko must keep him safe while working out where the missing money has gone. Her motives remain unclear, since her interest in the fortune may matter more to her than the child's welfare. Lupin and Jigen are drawn into the pursuit as well.
The film is a 58-minute Japanese animated feature directed by Takeshi Koike, written by Yuya Takahashi and produced by Yuu Kiyozono, with animation from TMS Entertainment and Telecom Animation Film. It followed Koike's earlier Lupin entries, Jigen's Gravestone in 2014 and Goemon's Blood Spray in 2017, and preceded two further Lupin titles in 2025. The voice cast includes Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko, Kanichi Kurita as Lupin, Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Jigen, Mamoru Miyano as Bincam and Tomoe Hanba as Gene.
Released in 2019, the film holds a 6.9 rating on IMDb from 682 votes and a 7.1 rating on TMDB from 107 votes, placing it in similar territory with both audiences. The modest vote counts reflect a niche release aimed at followers of the long-running Lupin franchise rather than a broad theatrical audience.
