Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe

Candace Flynn has spent every summer trying to catch her stepbrothers in the act, and her latest failure leaves her convinced the whole universe is against her. When aliens abduct her, she is taken to a distant planet where she is welcomed as a savior and finally gets the peace she has wanted, far from Phineas and Ferb and their endless projects. Phineas, Ferb, and their friends from Danville refuse to leave her behind, so they set out across the galaxy to bring her home, with the family's pet platypus Perry working as usual as Agent P.

The animated film is directed by Dan Povenmire and Bob Bowen. It is a return to the characters Povenmire helped create, following his earlier feature based on the same series, Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension. Kate Kondell, Povenmire, and Jeffrey M. Howard wrote the screenplay, with a voice cast of 34 performers led by Ashley Tisdale as Candace, Vincent Martella as Phineas, David Errigo Jr. as Ferb, and Povenmire as Dr. Doofenshmirtz, alongside Olivia Olson and Alyson Stoner.

The film runs 86 minutes and was produced by Disney Television Animation. It drew modest theatrical revenue of about 6 million dollars worldwide, consistent with a television film that reached most viewers through streaming. On IMDb it holds a 7 out of 10 from roughly 6,200 votes, and on TMDB a 7.2 out of 10 from around 415 votes, indicating a generally favorable response from those who watched it.
