Lovers

Lisa and Simon shared a deep bond since their teenage years until Simon was forced to flee due to criminal activities. After years of waiting for news that never arrived, Lisa married Leo. The couple later travels to an island in the Indian Ocean, where Lisa unexpectedly encounters her former lover.

Directed by Nicole Garcia, this French drama and thriller is the third film in her directorial chronology, following Place Vendôme and From the Land of the Moon. Garcia also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Jacques Fieschi.
