Pacto de Fuga

Set during the final years of Augusto Pinochet's military regime in Chile, this drama and thriller depicts the efforts of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front to free political prisoners from the Santiago prison. The plot focuses on the clandestine construction of a tunnel, a project that takes militants 18 months to complete using basic tools. This operation eventually allows nearly fifty detainees to escape just before the country transitions back to democracy.

Directed by David Albala, who also served as a producer and co-writer alongside Loreto Caro-Valdés and Susana Quiroz Saavedra, the film features a cast including Benjamín Vicuña, Roberto Farías, Amparo Noguera, Francisca Gavilán, Patricio Contreras, and Eusebio Arenas. A total of 39 actors are credited in the production, which was produced by Storyboard Media and Calibre 71.
