Fear of Rain

Rain Burroughs is a teenage girl living with schizophrenia, navigating hallucinations and the aftermath of a hospital stay as she tries to return to school and everyday life. Her parents, Michelle and John, work to help her hold on to a normal existence while keeping struggles of their own out of sight. When Rain becomes convinced that her neighbor, a teacher named Dani McConnell, is holding a child captive, no one takes her seriously except Caleb, a new classmate whose existence she cannot be certain of. The film follows her attempt to work out whether what she is seeing is real.

Fear of Rain was released in 2021 and runs 109 minutes.
