Psycho Granny

Samantha Kirkpatrick is grieving her mother's death when Colleen unexpectedly enters her life, claiming to be the grandmother Samantha never knew. The two grow close, but Colleen's hidden past gradually comes to light, and Samantha finds herself and those around her in danger. What began as a comforting reunion turns into a struggle for survival.

Psycho Granny is a 2019 American television thriller directed by Rebekah McKendry, the first of the four features she has directed, followed by Glorious in 2022, Elevator Game in 2023 and Sundown in 2026. It was written by Michael Prince and produced by Buz Wallick for MarVista Entertainment and Lifetime. Robin Riker plays Colleen, with Brooke Newton as Samantha, Matthew Lawrence as her husband Brad, and Mary O'Neil, Austin Highsmith and Caroline Williams in supporting roles.

The film runs 86 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 10 from 425 votes, while on TMDB it has a rating of 7.1 out of 10 from 17 votes, a small sample that reflects a more favourable response than the larger IMDb pool.
